Nicki is the founder/CEO of The NLP Group, a boutique Executive Search Firm based in Chicago. NLP works with Senior and Executive level professionals on opportunities covering a broad spectrum of industries and functional areas. NLP’s clients span the entire United States and globe, ranging in size from early stage start-ups to Fortune 50 companies. NLP has consistently been recognized for outstanding performance, exceptional results and unmatched levels of service and support.

Nicki spent the first 10 years of her career in sales with ADP selling customized software solutions, as well as outsourced services and solutions in HR, Payroll and Benefits Administration with a host of ancillary services and solutions that wrapped around those 3 core functions to Fortune 1000 companies. During her tenure there, Nicki received numerous accolades including winning 8 President’s Clubs, 2 Board of Directors amongst many other sales awards. Nicki was consistently recognized for outstanding sales results along with her dedication to providing world class customer service to clients. In 2003, Nicki left ADP to pursue real estate development opportunities (this was back when the market was good). Working with one of Chicago’s top developers, she built a number of spec homes and renovated numerous condos in one of real estate’s most coveted markets. Upon completion, Nicki re-entered corporate America and built The NLP Group into the premier Executive Search Firm it is today. By leveraging her over 15 years of professional experience and vast network of amazing contacts, Nicki started The NLP Group. And, quickly, based on the business’ enormous success, The NLP Group actually became a “group”. NLP has added phenomenal talent and is made up of an exceptional team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators. And, it is important to highlight how impressive each and every client is. Three lies and one truth:

I won my school’s 4th grade spelling bee.
Before quitting figure skating, I learned to land a double axel.
I am a twin and was a complete surprise—my parents had no idea I was going to be born until they were at the hospital.
I am fluent in 3 languages.

Two of my guilty pleasures are:

Old episodes of SNL—you know, the good ones! Can’t see them enough—they never get old and are always hilarious.
Baking. I’m obsessed—it’s a problem, seriously, I need a 12 step program. By the way, I like to cook too, but there’s something about baking…

Favorite music:

Old REM, old U2, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, you get the point.

Favorite food:

Anything sweet (which is obvious from the above baking addiction), but from a true food perspective, pizza.

Three things on my “bucket list” are:

I sound like a jerk if I don’t mention something around my kids, so –raise my kids to be productive citizens who contribute to the world, see them get married, meet their children (I pray I get to do all this).
Go to cooking school in Tuscany.
Go to trapeze school—okay, kidding, become an interior designer.
