Born and raised on the shores of Lake Michigan in Evanston, Illinois, Annie learned from a young age to work hard, treat people like you want to be treated & Cubs' fans are the best. In addition, Annie’s passion for and orientation towards providing exceptional service to the customer was evident at a very young age. Annie’s dynamic background has always centered around being a connector, problem solver and someone who consistently has helped people. Her experience spans 15+ years in business development, contract negotiation, and brand management. Her entrepreneurial background includes heading up the marketing and licensing for home furnishings designer, Tracy Porter. Annie represented the Tracy Porter brand to CEOs, VPs, retail and media executives in corporations such as Kohler, Time Warner, Savoy Lighting, Harpo Studios, Shaw Industries, Target, and many more. Annie was responsible for leading the strategic vision of the Tracy Porter brand to maximize the company’s sales and brand awareness across all channels including wholesale and direct-to-consumer. She also worked closely with Tracy’s licensing partners to implement sales strategies for the brand in mass, mid and high-end retail sales. After taking some time to raise her 3 amazing children, Annie is excited to get back to her professional roots and help people. For The NLP Group, Annie will utilize her vast business experience and keen eye to help identify top talent for our open searches.
Annie lives in Wilmette with her husband, three children, and dog, Henry. When she isn’t working with NLP candidates, driving a carpool, doing laundry, making a meal, or juggling her kids’ schedules, you can usually find her in front of the fire with a good book and a glass of wine or at Wrigley Field cheering on her beloved Cubbies.
